Over the last 60 years, no conflict has proved so intractable while so important to world affairs than that between the Israelis and their neighbors, especially the Palestinians. It was, therefore, a notable sign of progress that beginning on May 16th, 2010, in the spirit of Pax Populi people-to-people peacemaking, two Israeli and two Palestinian professors spent a week at Bentley University discussing ethics and the prospects for advancing peace between their respective peoples. All four professors were firmly united in their desire and commitment to achieving a just and sustainable peace based on a two-state solution.
